There is one former Real Housewives of New York apple that I miss seeing on my screen. It is disappointing that viewers will probably never see Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco. The cast was stellar and an interesting mix. However, I am thrilled that Alex McCord is dipping her toe in the Bravo pond again. It is about time!
As you may recall, Alex’s edition of RHUGT was scuttled amid a lawsuit filed against Bravo by Caroline Manzo. Thankfully, we can put that aside because Alex hinted that she is part of Bravo’s newest road-tripping series. And I am here for it!
Andy Cohen is sad fans didn’t get to watch Alex McCord on RHUGT: Morocco
Recently, Alex was a guest on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, where she chatted with host Andy Cohen about RHUGT. “One of the reasons I’m so glad you’re back here shooting this is you were so good on the Ultimate Girls Trip Morocco, which hasn’t seen the light of day,” Andy stated. “And I just … one of the reasons that I’m disappointed in that is that you’re so great for a whole lot of reasons on that show. Was that experience outside of what we’ve heard about?” he asked.
First off, Alex seemed to enjoy her time on RHUGT: Morocco. “You know what? That was a great experience,” she explained. “I remember being really sort of freaked out about it and like, ‘What’s this going to be like?'” She continued, “And, you know, how sometimes you just have to take a flying leap off a cliff? I thought, ‘All right, I’m doing this.'”
In addition, Alex explained, “It was like … it was part of the whole healing of what the negative stuff was at the beginning.” Andy responded, “I remember emailing you. I go, ‘All you have to do is go on vacation and have fun.'”
Meanwhile, Alex will be one of the housewives popping up in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. Plus, I can’t wait to hear from Dr. McCord, who now has her PhD.
