Did Dorinda Medley say yes to The Golden Life? According to last week’s rumor mills, she sure did.
After the recent firing of Jill Zarin, a Dorinda-sized spot opened up on this new E! series. So, did Dorinda take it? Is another snowbird headed to Florida?
Dorinda Medley is officially joining The Golden Life
In a recent statement, E! confirmed Dorinda’s upcoming role on The Golden Life. Soon, she’s heading down to Palm Beach, Florida. And while there, she’ll be joined by several of her Real Housewives of New York alum pals, including Kelly Bensimon, Countess Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer.
In her statement, Dorinda, who wholeheartedly agreed with Jill’s firing, said, “Well, the rumors are true! I will be joining the women on The Golden Life in Palm Beach. After decades of friendship and navigating life’s ups and downs together, it will be nice to reconnect with my ‘sisters.’ I am so excited to celebrate and share the next chapter of our lives!”
But according to E!’s release, not everything will feel like a celebration for this cast. Instead, there will be plenty of dramatic moments ahead for these women. As the network teased, “The series will follow the group as they navigate dating, family, and career milestones. Though skies are bright in Florida, unresolved drama looms as they reconnect after years of highs and lows.”
Filming reportedly starts in the spring. But will Dorinda choose to film as an innocent bystander, helping to make things nice on The Golden Life? Or, will she join in on the chaos and start a few new feuds of her own? Only time will tell.
