Yesterday, another Scandoval-like dumpster fire broke the internet. As it turns out, Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson ARE, in fact, dating. Following her split from Kyle Cooke, Amanda was enjoying the Ariana Madix glow-up. But now that she’s duped her best friend, Ciara Miller, that ship has sailed, and Amanda’s fall from grace has officially begun.
Listen, Amanda and Kyle’s marriage wasn’t built to last. Almost everyone saw their eventual split coming from a mile away, even before they tied the knot in 2021. Yet, no one saw Amanda leaning on West, Ciara’s ex. Making this real-life storyline even messier, in separate interviews, Amanda and West claimed that nothing nefarious was happening, but as everyone now knows, they were only trying to quiet the rumormills, until, that is, they couldn’t.

2024 -2025: Ciara and West fall in and out of love
West and Ciara started dating in Season 8. Fans loved watching Ciara’s smile grow, since this stunning woman is a legit angel. She’s a nurse, a genuine friend, and a grounding force on this cast. But fans also kept a watchful eye on their girl, since West’s greatest hurdle was “being able to commit.”
Sure enough, by the time the Season 8 reunion rolled around, they had already broken up. Apparently, West got a whiff of fame and wanted to play the field, fans suggested, leaving West in the hot seat both during and after the reunion. Then, last December, the trailer for Season 10 dropped, showing West and Ciara possibly considering a second attempt at their relationship. But then …
January 19, 2026: Amanda and Kyle split
In the trailer, Amanda also appeared, claiming that Kyle had fallen “asleep at some fan’s apartment.” Then, shortly after this trailer aired, Amanda and Kyle released a joint statement announcing their split.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” their statement began. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.” They also asked for privacy as they started navigating their divorce proceedings, which they admitted felt “ironic.” They have “always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter,” they said.
March 5, 2026: West and Amanda are spotted in the wild
Deux Moi, a (mostly) popular celebrity gossip blogger, often gets things wrong. So, when this site claimed that Amanda and West had been spotted in the wild, looking rather loved-up last month, fans weren’t quite sure what to think.
As Deux Moi claimed, “Amanda Batula and West Wilson are allegedly hooking up. Why’s everyone talking? Apparently, they’re telling people. Sources say it’s casual … At a recent event, they were openly flirty, allegedly even holding hands under the table, with Kyle, Amanda’s ex-husband, right there.”
However, Deux Moi also noted that West hung out with many women around NYC, including Ciara. So, fans took this rumor with a grain of salt, especially since Amanda and Ciara were such close friends.
March 9: Amanda denied dating West
Even still, the rumormills started growing. So, Amanda finally spoke out on the March 9 episode of the Trading Secrets podcast. And when she did, she firmly shut down all speculations that suggested she was secretly dating West, or any of her costars, for that matter.
“It’s not going to happen. I’m not touching any of my cast members,” Amanda lied. “Love them dearly, but I’m good.” Meanwhile, her ex, Kyle, believed, “I don’t think there’s any merit” to the rumors about Amanda and West.
But were these rumors true, he added, they “would certainly catch me by surprise and feel a little reckless. I think I’d probably be the last person people would be worried about. I think Ciara would probably have something to say.”
March 25, 2026: West somewhat denied dating Amanda
Several weeks later, West appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Here, Andy Cohen asked, “West, what was your reaction to the rumors of you and Amanda?” His answer, looking back, was definitely cryptic.
“She’s single now, and it’s happened already with other people she’s hung out with,” West began. Jumped in for clarification, Andy asked, “You were just hanging out?” In response, West said, “Yeah, we were just hanging out in New York. She’s single. I gotta show her the streets a little bit.”
“But if it’s not clear,” West added, “She’s a very important person to me. And I, like, care about her a lot.” Andy looked suspicious. But West said, “She’s my homegirl,” and “a friend” only.
March 26, 2026: Amanda and Ciara allegedly fall out
The day after West appeared on WWHL, another report landed on the internet. This one fueled suspicions about Amanda and West even more because, as the headlines asserted, Amanda and Ciara had fallen out. And it was possibly due to Amanda’s affections for this mediocre man.
In this report, observers noted that Amanda and Ciara were no longer liking each other’s posts on Instagram. Additionally, they removed their likes on older posts as well. But the biggest tell came after they canceled their joint Amazon Live to hawk Olly vitamins.
They ended up hosting this event separately. From here on out, all eyes turned to Amanda and West. And this is when things took a turn toward the sadly expected.
March 31, 2026: West and Amanda finally fess up
Facing mounting speculations from their fans and costars alike, yesterday, Amanda and Kyle finally admitted the truth: they are dating. They used the same statement on their Instagram Stories, basically saying that their feelings “evolved.” Also, they “recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
Now, Amanda is down a best friend. She also lost her collaboration with Edie Parker. This lifestyle and accessory brand couldn’t pull Amanda’s ads down quicker if they tried, and, if you ask us, they should turn around and hire Ciara instead. Or, maybe Ciara could be the next Bachelorette, because this stunning, kind, hardworking ICU nurse deserves nothing but a steady stream of wins moving forward.
