Could you imagine being stuck out in the middle of the sea with certain OG stars from The Real Housewives of New York? Well, the crew of Below Deck Mediterranean may or may not have just endured this very thing. As Sonja Morgan just revealed, she and her gal pals just stepped foot on Captain Sandy Yawn’s yacht. And, if Sonja’s hashtags are any indicator, we might soon see the cast of The Golden Life on the next season of Below Deck Med.
We can only imagine how badly the help might have been treated by at least one of these New Yorkers. But fingers crossed that we are very, very wrong on that part. That is, if this crossover is even a thing.
Could the unofficial RHONY spinoff enjoy a Bravo crossover?
When The Golden Life debuts in 2026, Sonja, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Kelly Bensimon will all appear. Thank you, reality TV gods.
Anyway, Bravo is not behind this spinoff series. Instead, E! is working on it, but as Sonja just revealed, snippets of The Golden Life might also appear on the next season of Below Deck Med.
On X, the social media artist formerly known as Twitter, our girl Sonja just posted an image of herself standing on a dock. In her caption, she penned, “Having a ball. Airs Fall 2026.” Then, this toaster-making star used a slew of hashtags, including “#Captain Sandy,” “#Below Deck,” “#RHONY,” “#Golden Life,” and “#Filming.”
Then, on Instagram, Sonja posted yet another teaser. This one included an image of herself, Captain Sandy, Luann, Kelly, Dorinda, and Leah Yawn, Captain Sandy’s wife, but not Ramona. Hmmm, but in this caption, Sonja wrote, “We got the yacht.”
In both posts, we never saw the yacht out at sea. Was this just a quick catch-up session in Palm Beach? Or, might this be a crossover charter episode featuring the casts of The Golden Life and Below Deck Med? Only time will tell.
The Real Housewives of New York and Below Deck Mediterranean are streaming on Peacock. The Golden Life airs sometime next year on E!.
