The dynamic between Jax Taylor and his son Cruz Cauchi has changed a lot in the past few years. After Jax and his ex-wife Brittany Cartwright split, the 5-year old was in the middle of their public breakup. Ultimately, the decision was made for The Valley’s former leading couple to have joint custody.
Jax’s parenting schedule is now Wednesday nights and every other weekend. How has this change been for his bond with Cruz? Has not living in the same house anymore weakened their connection? Well, according to Jax’s recent message, their father-son relationship is stronger than ever.
The former star of The Valley is reflecting on the past five years
Jac recently took to social media to write out a heartfelt message to Cruz. He paired the letter with a collage of photos of them together, both smiling in each picture.
“You have brought more love and laughter and meaning to my life than you can ever possibly imagine, especially these past two years. Every time we are together it’s the best part of my life, he wrote in the caption of the April 12 IG post.
The former reality TV star continued to show his admiration for his son, who was diagnosed with autism in April 2025.
“I am beyond proud of you – your strength, your big heart and the way you see the world amazes me every single day. You make me want to be better every day.”
So, it looks like this coparenting with Brittany is going well and the boys still have great quality time. Here’s to hoping that the future continues to be bright for their relationships with their son. Happy Birthday Cruz!
