Mia Calabrese definitely has something to say about the Amanda Batula and West Wilson scandal. The Summer House newbie took to the stage at the Watch What Happens Live Clubhouse to discuss how the season evolved in the wake of scamanda.
The real estate maven is firmly in Ciara Miller’s corner. And she shared her thoughts on culpability. Indeed, it’s worth noting that perhaps the public is reacting differently to Amanda versus her new squeeze. Mia spoke about it further to WWHL host Andy Cohen.
The Summer House star expects more from her fellow women
“We live in a society where we place blame. Do you place blame more on one or the other of them?” Andy asked Mia.
She answered, “Yeah I blame Amanda more. She’s a woman. I think men, you know, they don’t always think straight. C’mon, you know better.”
Amanda is also the one with a legal spouse. She and Kyle Cooke announced their separation on January 19, 2026. Their divorce is not yet finalized.
Mia revealed that both parties did try to contact her since news of their romance broke. Her friendship with Ciara would make any sort of resolution with Amanda or West unlikely. Perhaps the illicit duo are looking for allies amongst the other cast members.
“Amanda did reach out to me and I don’t really know how to respond yet,” Mia revealed.
Andy followed up about her contact with the sports reporter. He said, “I know West was already on your list kind of before this, have you spoken to him?”
“West did reach out to me as well,” Mia said. “To apologize for lying. I don’t know how to respond yet.”
It will be an interesting reunion. There was a rumor that Amanda and West would film it separately. Viewers were in such an uproar that the duo might not have to answer to Ciara, Kyle, and the other house mates, that Bravo made an official comment saying this would not be the case.
