Dakota Mortensen and Taylor Frankie Paul Appear Bloodied and Bruised in Police Photos

Trigger Warning: This article contains a discussion of domestic violence allegations

Graphic new images appear to show the aftermath of the fights between Dakota Mortensen and Taylor Frankie Paul. They’ve both accused each other of domestic violence, with an accusation in February shutting down production on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

The pictures show the couple bloodied and bruised, but the cops in Utah just announced that they wouldn’t be filing any criminal charges.

The injuries sustained are alleged to be from fights between the exes

The couple submitted photos as part of their court case. TMZ got their hands on them, and they’re disturbing.

In the photos of Dakota, you can see red marks and scratches around his neck and face. He’s also got a huge bruise on his leg. Another disturbing photo shows his nose covered in what is purported to be blood.

Meanwhile, Taylor submitted evidence showing a large bruise on her forehead. She also appeared to have bruising on her back and arm. Both exes allege their injuries were a result of a fight, but there are differing stories about what exactly went down.

According to a police report reviewed by Page Six, Dakota claimed that on February 22, between 3 am and 6 am, he and Taylor got into an argument. He told the cops that Taylor grabbed him by the throat and pushed him into a window.

Dakota said he tried to call 911, but Taylor convinced him to hang up the phone. The following day, they got into another fight. It escalated when she allegedly followed him to his truck, repeatedly punching him.

“Dakota shoved her off, causing her to hit her head on the center console screen,” the police report read.

Taylor had a completely different story, claiming that Dakota blew up at her after she spilled a drink. She said he slammed her head into the dashboard of the truck.

On Thursday, the Salt Lake City District Attorney’s Office confirmed that they wouldn’t be pressing any criminal charges due to “insufficient corroborating evidence.”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu.
