Amanda Batula called West Wilson out last night on Summer House. When West, her then-secret crush, or whatever they were at that time, disrespected his ex, Ciara Wilson, Amanda gave him hell. Was she speaking about her own inner hurt feelings? Or was Amanda truly trying to stick up for her then-best friend? Either way, here’s what happened.
The Summer House episode was filmed last year
During last night’s episode of Summer House, West flirted with another girl in front of Ciara (and Amanda). So, Amanda, acting like a supportive friend, told West, “What upset me the most was that you’ve been such a good friend to me all summer long. Like, it bothers you when you see Kyle [Cooke] disrespect me. For someone who’s [acted] so supportive of me and looking out for me and standing up for me, to watch you disrespect Ciara in that way, it just puts this weird dynamic in place.”
West agreed. “I’m a f*cking idiot,” he clocked, adding, “I understand why it’s disrespectful and hurtful, but now I’m like, ‘What did I just jeopardize? Was it friendship … Was it rekindling … Was it her tolerating me for eight weeks in the summer?’ I don’t know.”
Whatever it was, Amanda told West to “Take accountability. Apologize, and there’s no ‘ands,’ ‘ifs’ or ‘buts.'” So, West did.
In response, an emotional Ciara told West, “I really did consider you my best friend. We had such a great friendship, I think that’s the part that’s so hurtful about it because I don’t call people my best friend lightly.” Then, they hugged and agreed to be “best friends” again.
Obviously, they are no longer besties anymore. Even though the events in this episode took place last year, the signs all suggest that deep feelings might have already set in between West and Amanda, who are currently dating. Welp. Bring on the reunion!
