During Part 1 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 reunion, host Andy Cohen made a surprising comparison.
“Amanda [Frances],” he began. “Not since Camille Grammer [in] Season 1 have I seen someone enter this group and light up the audience. So, let’s start with the positive, shall we?”
The RHOBH reunion got off to a frosty start
To begin, Andy read viewer comments about Amanda. Fans had opinions on everything from how quickly Amanda “got all the ladies activated” to how she has “the cutest family.”
“On the other hand,” he added, “many fans were taken aback by how you speak about your husband.” Some viewers throught Amanda had made Eddie Tsivislavsky “sound like a freeloader.”
“OK, Eddie’s not a freeloader,” Amanda objected. “He takes care of me in a million ways every day. He knows I make more money than him, [and] he knows I’m super proud of it.”
Nevertheless, Amanda did make sure that her castmates knew she was the one who paid for their family home. Neither she nor Eddie thought it was “disrespectful” that she talked about how she bought Kyle Richards’ former house in 2022.
However, Amanda shared that Eddie didn’t like her saying on camera that she makes “more in a month than he makes in a year.”
“He was like, ‘Yes, that is true, [but] maybe you didn’t have to say it that way,'” she admitted.
Following some more cast debate, Andy went on: “You were [also] getting critiqued about [using] millennial phrases, bragging about designers, or the money queen of it all.”
“I thought I was on a show about rich women with cool sh*t,” she said.
Meanwhile, Erika Jayne spoke up. “That’s [only] one part of the show,” she said. “The lead part is your f*ckin’ heart and soul. And we’ve had a hard time getting to your heart and soul.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills three-part Season 15 reunion continues Thursday, April 30 at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams the following day on Peacock.
