The Valley star Brittany Cartwright unequivocally loves her son, Cruz Cauchi. But one night, while they were co-sleeping, Cruz left her a messy little gift that she likely wished he hadn’t. Here are the details surrounding her recent and fairly relatable mom-life confession.
Brittany shares the glamorous side of motherhood…
While promoting her upcoming appearance on the Are You Okay? podcast, which drops on April 30, Brittany spoke with E! News, offering the outlet a sneak peek at what listeners can expect tomorrow. Cruz is autistic, which Brittany candidly talks about. So, with this in mind, she began to tell a story. As she prefaced, “I feel like a bunch of parents will understand this, especially with my son being non-verbal.”
“He likes to co-sleep with me a lot of times,” Brittany began. But one time, “he woke me up in the middle of the night because he pooped and he rubbed the poop all over my face.” After calling this incident a “feces facial,” Brittany detailed even more TMI notes about this very messy little wake-up call.
“I woke up, and I could just smell something. I was like, ‘What is happening here?!’ And I was like, ‘Oh, he pooped in his diaper,'” Brittany explained.
She continued, “I went to change him, and I realized it was on his hands, it was on my sheets. So, I had to [get] him in the bathtub, me in the shower, clean everything, and then get him back to bed. Just a wild way to wake up,” Brittany admitted.
Likewise, Brittany further shared, another time, “He got a nosebleed before, and he woke me up by rubbing the blood on my face. He’s like, ‘Mom, wake up,’ but he’s letting me know why by putting it on my face.” All messes aside, it goes without saying that Brittany totally adores Cruz.
