Pedro Pascal is a very versatile actor, and it’s quite clear that he is clearly enjoying his Marvel era, as well. The “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” actor recently opened up about filming “Avengers: Doomsday” during an appearance on “Good Morning America.” In fact, this is where he went on to describe just how surreal and emotional the whole experience was for him.
Pedro Pascal finally shares his experience working on Avengers: Doomsday
While speaking about the highly anticipated Marvel project, “Avengers: Doomsday,” on “GMA,” Pedro Pascal could barely hide his extreme excitement as he praised the directors, the Russo Brothers, and reflected on the overall atmosphere on set. He explained with a warm smile, “It’s going to be amazing. The Russo Brothers were incredible to work with. The entire cast, what can I even say? How much time is there?”
The “The Last of Us” actor then also painted a vivid picture of life behind the scenes while filming the blockbuster. Pascal explained that he had stepped out of his trailer during a phone call and found himself surrounded by actors dressed in partial superhero costumes. He elaborated, “I remember I took a phone call and we were all at what we call base camp, which is sort of like a big, empty lot. Friends were in my trailer. So, I went outside, there was no place to sit, and I found this, like, block of cement, and I’m sitting there, and I’m talking, but I’m looking around, and I’m seeing all of like, varying Avengers half costume, in costume, walking around.”
According to Pascal, the moment felt strangely wholesome despite the scale of the production. He compared the environment to “some kind of Avengers retreat or like, home,” before admitting that the experience genuinely felt unreal. He expressed, “You know, it really felt like some kind of Avengers retreat or like home. And I was like, if you saw this right now, you would not believe it. It was like having a dream, but it was totally real.” Fans have already been waiting for updates surrounding “Avengers: Doomsday,” and Pascal’s comments have only added to the anticipation.
