Rosie DiMare is breaking her silence over her controversial insult to Kelsey Swanson. The two Real Housewives of Rhode Island stars have had issues with one another, with Rosie the latest to throw some shade. She called Kelsey a “slam pig,” remarks which didn’t go over too well.
Over the weekend, Rosie appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to address some of the backlash she’s received. She tried to educate people about those two words many have deemed offensive.

Viewers who aren’t from the New England area could have been learning a new term this past weekend.
On Andy’s talk show on Sunday, Rosie explained what a slam pig is. “A New England term for someone you really don’t like.” Rosie then doubled down on the controversy by adding, “If you look on Urban Dictionary, it basically describes her.
The website defines those words as an average-looking girl who likes having random sexual encounters with many guys while intoxicated.
We have not even completed the first season of that show, and already it’s been littered with drama. The latest episode released on Sunday is called Splitting Hairs. Rosie says that her insult towards Kelsey is very accurate. She claims that Kelsey has been coming at her for weeks, and it appears that Rosie has had enough.
Previously, Rosie went through a list of negative things Kelsey had said about her husband, her career, and even false claims of an affair with a basketball coach. Despite all of that, she says she still wanted to make amends during a recent cast trip to Newport.
It doesn’t appear as though the two are ready to reconcile. She recently alleges that Kelsey’s ex paid to have her crowned Miss Rhode Island USA.
