The Valley stars Luke Broderick and Danny Booko are great friends. But even still, Luke has some thoughts about Danny’s behavior in Season 3. Here’s what Luke just said on Watch What Happens Live.
Tom Schwartz also weighed in during WWHL with Andy Cohen
During a cast trip to San Diego, Danny turned extremely sour toward his wife, Nia Sanchez Booko. When Nia tried to eat a sandwich, Danny grew annoyed after she asked him to hold their baby. He also called Nia performative when she got excited about riding on a roller coaster. In general, Danny seemed highly irritated by everything Nia did or said during this trip.
So, when Luke appeared on WWHL, Andy Cohen asked him about “his reaction” to Danny’s “behavior in the last two episodes.” Luke conceded, “It’s not a good look. I’m one of the biggest Danny defenders. And you know what, he was an A-hole.”
At his side during this episode was Tom Schwartz, filling in for Danny. At the last minute, Danny dropped out for a “great work opportunity on a huge new movie.” So, Tom appeared instead, and he agreed with Luke. These episodes were “horrid,” for Danny, Tom said, and yes, “[Danny] was being a real A-hole,” Tom noted.
However, for anyone thinking that Danny lied and skipped this appearance to save face, both Andy and Luke suggested otherwise. “I believe him,” Andy said. “If he canceled because he was scared to come here, we would have heard from our publicist,” he further explained. “He definitely has a job.” Luke corroborated.
