The Bravoverse was forever changed when West Wilson and Amanda Batula dropped a joint statement confirming their romance. But can you believe that the Summer House stars didn’t sleep together until after they went public? That’s what they claimed during the Season 10 reunion, and for obvious reasons, some fans are having a hard time believing it.
The scandal-plagued couple also revealed when they shared their first kiss
During Summer House Season 10 Episode 17, the highly anticipated sitdown, Andy Cohen wasted zero time getting to the bottom of the Amanda and West timeline. They are sticking to the story that things started heating up around February of this year, despite rumors claiming it started earlier.
According to West, he was the first one to make a move, and they didn’t share their first kiss until the end of February, after a brunch. When Andy asked when they first slept together, Amanda jumped in and explained that it was much more recent than you’d expect.
“After the statement,” Amanda claimed. “I mean, not that night, but…”
That means that despite the public backlash, the think pieces, and the photo of Ciara Miller sprawled out on the sidewalk in heartbreak, West and Amanda doubled down on their connection and proceeded to sleep together.
As messy as all of that sounds, West said at the reunion that this situation isn’t necessarily a “sex scandal.” That comment was not well-received by his castmates or the folks watching at home. Social media lit up with fans still questioning their alleged timeline.
“These two want us to believe they released a joint STATEMENT before sleeping together,” commented one fan on Instagram.
Another added, “After the statement??? How odd.”
Of course, there are also those rumblings that West had a girlfriend at some point during this period. Others have claimed he and Amanda’s romance was discussed as early as this year’s Super Bowl. Fortunately, we have two more parts of this reunion to get to the bottom of all of it.
