We know of one person returning to The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
Kelsey Swanson discussed Season 2 of the show in a recent interview. They will begin filming this summer; something that Kelsey expects will keep her busy throughout the upcoming months.
Kelsey believes that having filmed the first season, she will be prepared for anything thrown her way when Season 2 is underway. There are three more episodes remaining in the first season of the show.
The RHORI Season 2 cast has not yet been officially revealed
This season hasn’t finished airing, but Kelsey is already looking ahead to Season 2. She said in an interview with Content Condo Miami, “that will be my entire summer,” referring to filming for Season 2 of RHORI. “Until then, I’m just like a one-track mind and show only,” she added. She expects filming to conclude in September.
While initially saying Season 2 will be easier, she then stopped herself and jokingly said, “I’m just going to pretend that it’s going to be easier.”
Kelsey mentioned all of this even though the Season 2 cast has not been officially announced. She opened up about the second season while in South Beach for Miami Swim Week. Kelsey was walking the runway for Cupshe.
One of the show’s Executive Producers, Andy Cohen, has had high praise for this Real Housewives series. He believed that the ladies of RHORI are all living in the moment and were not self-aware of the cameras. He praised their authenticity and entertainment value. According to him, that is hugely important.
Although Bravo confirmed the show is coming back, they have yet to say who will return or in what capacity. Alicia Carmody, Ashley Iaconetti, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi have all expressed interest in returning. Rosie DiMare, however, appeared a little more uncertain about her interest in coming back, saying she didn’t know.
She and Kelsey have had some heated exchanges in Season 1, with the former calling Kelsey a “slam pig.” Rosie has defended those comments, saying the New England term basically describes Kelsey.
