West Wilson’s Reaction to Summer House Firing Revealed — Source

West Wilson is supposedly taking his dismissal from Summer House in stride.

The controversial figure in Season 10 of the show won’t be returning next season, and according to insiders, he’s fine with that. The 31-year-old got his share of backlash during this past season of the show because of his relationship with Amanda Batula.

It sounds like West didn’t have a lot of cast members in his corner. In the end, it seems the best thing for Summer House and West was to part company.

The decision was a “mutual” one between West Wilson and Bravo

Breaking up is hard to do, but in West’s case and Summer House, it was the only alternative. At least that’s the conclusion they have reached, with a source telling US Weekly that the firing was “a mutual decision between the network and West.” That source adds that West went into the Season 10 finale “already feeling like his time on the show was coming to an end.”

He took a lot of heat from fans and his now-former cast members during the most recent three-part Summer House reunion. The timeline of his relationship with Amanda was a major talking point, with Jesse Solomon dropping his own timeline on the matter last week. There had been questions about when West and Amanda began dating, with the latter only just splitting up with Kyle Cooke in January.

While West won’t be coming back to Summer House, he is said to be “at peace with the decision,” according to a source. They claim that it is onward and upward for him as he focuses his future on his podcast and other business ventures.

According to a second source, there was more drama between West and his castmates beyond his relationship with Amanda. His past romance with Ciara Miller also apparently caused tension in the group, along with his new relationship with Amanda.

Meanwhile, West also reportedly “tried to get Kyle, Lindsay Hubbard, and Carl Radke fired,” according to another insider. That’s been denied by West’s team.
