Welcome back, Below Deck Mediterranean fans! Last week, the crew said goodbye to a charter guest who tested their will to live. They also received their biggest tip ever. Elsewhere, Nathan finally made an honest lead deckhand out of Joe. And Luke finally picked Gen as his late-night romp partner, leading to a literally messy Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 Episode 5.
What happened in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 Episode 5?
Luke enters the found-out stage of his literal f*ck around session with Gen, complete with nasty sheets. But Kat and Cooper, Joy, Kayley, Aesha, and also Nathan and Joe, fare well this week. Truly, this is a solid crew, but the tides are turning, and drama is definitely starting to brew.
Luke defiles Nathan’s bunk

After LOUDLY sharing a bed, Gen moves down to Nathan’s bunk to sleep. Luke cracks a joke about Joy possibly wanting to kill her. Joy did mention in Episode 1 that her fridge was large enough to store a body in…
Taking a different tactic, Joe heads to bed alone. Outside, Cooper, his retainer, and Kat share a G-rated night under the stars.
In the morning, Luke and Gen go at it again, this time in Nathan’s bunk. According to Gen, Luke even “came on [his] boss’s sheets.” But as happy as Gen is, Joy is now “heartbroken.” She thinks Gen and Luke might have kissed, so she no longer likes Luke, nor Gen, really.
Nathan returns to the yacht, but he does not spot his dirty sheets. Yet, he does say yes to Copper when he asks if he can take Kat out on a date. But first, a preference sheet meeting.
Their next guests are big Game of Thrones fans. They want a walking tour of the Dubrovnik filming locations. The crew loves this. But Luke does not love a new realization.
Joy is hurt. She did not mean what he thought she meant last week, when she told him to “do his thing” as a single man. He failed her test. Luke calls his mom and tells her everything, and he labels his night with Gen as “meaningless.”
Cooper and Kat, however, enjoy a sweet, meaningful date, filled with manners, smiling, a kiss, and a dip in the sea. Back on the yacht, Nathan unknowingly crawls into a defiled bunk.
Luke grows distracted while Joy and Kat thrive

The charter guests come aboard. But down below, Joy keeps her foot on Luke’s neck. Her hysterical barbs show this man no mercy, leaving Luke worried about what else she might say once she finds out the whole truth of his night with Gen.
Gen thinks there will be more than one night, though. In fact, she believes she and Luke “are on the same page.” Understandable, really.
Gen heads off to a beach picnic while Luke stays on the yacht. Joy keeps pushing him away, though. So, he heads downstairs to wash Nathan’s sheets instead. Unfortunately for him, every machine is full, so hopefully, Nathan will remain blind to this grossness, Luke says. EW.
Luke packed the wrong chairs, Joe clocks at the beach. Now, their guests will feel like ants when sitting around the table. Sure enough, their guests make several comments, but Joy’s food makes everything okay, and they all return to the yacht, happy.
Dressed in a Game of Thrones-inspired cloak, Kat prepares to lead the guests on their next excursion, the walking tour. Cooper likes what he sees. But if he had it his way, he would make Kat “look more like an Avatar. I’m deep into the Pandora world,” he cutely explains.
Kat does a fantastic job. She gives her cloak to Luke, and as he walks through the streets of King’s Landing, the guests “shame” him like Cersei Lannister, minus the whole naked part. Fittingly, back in the galley, Joy throws herself into her work, not wanting to dwell on this man or his messes.
Luke fails to make any points with Gen

Luke returns to the yacht. Gen asks, “What up, big sexy?” Luke curses. He also cringes when Nathan says, “I slept like dogsh*t.”
Kayley does a phenomenal job setting up a GOT-inspired table, though, and the guests enjoy another “outstanding” meal. Luke helps Joy wash the dishes, but that annoys Gen. Gen slams this love triangle, which she sees more as a love line with two people, not a triangle with three people, in her confessional.
But the show must go on. The crew performs an offbeat GOT-like skit. Cooper even throws himself off the yacht, which Captain Sandy commends him for. “That’s seven-star service,” she says.
Back to Gen. She feels insecure. Luke is doing special things for Joy, but not for her. Luke nervously smiles, but in his talking head, he says, “This is psycho stuff.”
He needs to talk to Gen. Gen agrees. She stays up past her shift. Around 2 a.m, Luke finds her still up.
He tells her they need to remain professional, and there is no love triangle. Gen is glad they are on the same page. But, Luke asks, “I don’t know if we are. Are we?”
No. They are not. “I need this to be over, but I don’t know how to say that to her without blowing up the boat,” Luke tells the camera. Meanwhile, in her interview, Gen concludes that Luke wants space, but only so he can let Joy down.
Below Deck Mediterranean continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
