The Valley Star Danny Booko ‘Porn-Free’ for Six Years: ‘I Have Some Material With My Wife’

Danny Booko has drawn plenty of criticism throughout this season of The Valley. His drinking and tense interactions with his wife, Nia Sanchez, have fueled backlash, and viewers have had a lot to say about his behavior both on and off-screen.

Now, Danny is opening up about a much different aspect of his personal life, revealing why he gave up pornography more than six years ago and what he says he turns to instead.

Danny Booko has faced backlash for his attitude with wife Nia Sanchez on The Valley Season 3

During the July 15 episode of The Valley After Show, Danny revealed that he’s been “porn-free” for more than six years.

Danny shared, “I have been porn-free for probably over six years. I have some material with my wife and I don’t know where to go from there.”

Nia didn’t deny the videos exist, but she joked they’re “airlocked” and assured viewers they’ll never be made public.

Danny told Luke Broderick and Jesse Lally the choice was rooted in both his marriage and his faith.

He explained, “Obviously, we’re all men. We’re visual. It’s a billion-dollar industry. I was like, I want to not do this and not have this part of my life and let it go and love and respect my wife as much as I can. Plus, being a person of faith, I felt conviction, that type of stuff. I’ve been nothing for six years.”

The revelation comes as Danny continues to face criticism for how he’s treated Nia on screen. During the cast’s San Diego trip, viewers watched him speak sharply to his wife, prompting Lala Kent to call his behavior “aggressive” and “disrespectful.” The backlash later led Danny to publicly apologize to Nia.

The porn confession drew some skeptical reactions from the rest of the cast.

“There’s no damn way. Get the hell out of here,” Jasmine Goode said. “You can’t tell me six years. That’s crazy.”

Kristen Doute, however, appreciated Danny’s perspective. Nia’s longtime friend thought it was sweet that he preferred videos of his wife over watching pornography.

“How precious is that? He’s not like, ‘I want to watch Pornhub.’ He’s like, ‘I have videos of my wife and I,’” she said. “You guys are so cute. … I guarantee if Luke and I set up a movie studio, he would still watch porn. So would I!”

Season 3 of The Valley continues Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. New episodes stream on Peacock the next day.
