There are rumors that the couple is spending more and more time away from each other. As per a source, the king is observing things and rooting for Harry’s happiness, be it “with or without Meghan.”

According to Closer, King Charles wants the best for Prince Harry amid the speculations surrounding the latter’s marriage with Meghan Markle. There are reports of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex living separately. A source told Rob Shuter, “They’re living very separate lives now. It’s gone beyond work schedules. They have different priorities, different routines, and they’re spending much less time together than people realise.”
Closer explained that the monarch has made it clear that Harry can reach out to him for advice anytime. “Charles has been watching everything unfold from a distance,” an insider told the outlet. They added, “He’s certainly not wishing for Harry’s marriage to fail, he’s realistic enough to know that even the strongest relationships can hit their breaking point under this kind of pressure.”
The insider continued, “Charles isn’t blind to any of this.” Moreover, he reportedly wants to step in and help Harry. This is because “He’s been through a very public divorce himself,” and he “knows how different things can be behind closed doors compared to the image people see,” according to the source.
The Palace is allegedly making contingency plans in case Harry and Meghan divorce. However, the source said Charles is only concerned about the family’s happiness. The monarch reportedly thinks he can advise in matters of the heart, especially if it meant his son doesn’t have to face the emotional turmoil alone. The source claims Charles “knows he can’t advise Harry on the Hollywood side of life or the business decisions he and Meghan are making.” However, they add that “relationships are another matter.”
He reportedly wants his younger son to be happy, but at the same time tackle difficulties head-on. The source explained, “This isn’t about trying to come between Harry and Meghan, in fact, contrary to what a lot of people might think, Charles is actually rooting for them,” the source added. Most of all, “he wants to see his grandchildren grow up in a happy home,” according to the insider.
