A royal expert has revealed Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s reaction to the Sussexes’ return to the UK, warning that their arrival could add to the couple’s already demanding responsibilities. He suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s presence could bring new challenges for William and Kate as they work to strengthen the monarchy and secure its future.
Royal author says how Prince William and Kate Middleton would react to Harry’s UK return
“Brothers and Wives” author Christopher Andersen revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s reaction to the Sussexes’ return to the UK is likely, “here we go again.” He explained that the royal couple already has plenty on their plate as they work to strengthen the monarchy and prepare it for the future.
“For starters, I can only imagine that William and Kate are tearing their hair out. They have so much on their plate as it is, trying to shore up the monarchy and propel it into the future; they don’t really need to cope with having Harry and Megan on their proverbial doorstep,” Andersen told Us Weekly.
He revealed that their arrival will draw massive attention, which would then be turned into tabloid stories and may also overshadow other royal family members. This will likely not sit well with the royal members. “King Charles and Queen Camilla, in particular, don’t like to be upstaged, and the same goes for William,” he elaborated.
Recently, sources told Heat World that Prince Harry is looking forward to reconciling with his estranged brother, Prince William, and Kate Middleton because he misses them both. However, the insider claimed that Harry believes William could be “vengeful.”
At the same time, the Duke of Sussex reportedly doesn’t think it is fair that he is the only one expected to make efforts toward reconciliation. “But it’s also the pattern he’s been used to for as long as he can remember,” sources stated.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their children could move to the UK, though they are not expected to reside at a royal property. Instead, the family would reportedly settle in a private home. Archie and Lilibet are also said to be set to attend school in Britain, with their studies beginning next month.
