In this week’s episode of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, the main cast members traveled to Atlanta and were joined by iconic housewives from other franchises.
In a repeat of Kyle Richards’ white party from the previous episode, Lisa Barlow clashed with her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City co-stars. But it was the arrival of Ashley Darby from Real Housewives of Potomac that caused the most drama.
She was accused of breaking girl code by previously flirting with Maurio Umansky – and viewers have had a lot to say about it.

To recap, in Season 10 of RHOP, the Housewives took a trip to Colorado, which included a day spent in Aspen. There, they ran into Mauricio. What happened next was a lot of girly giggling and, arguably, flirtation from some of the ladies, particularly Ashley.
At the time, the interaction between Mauricio and the RHOP ladies caused a stir on social media. Why? Well, Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for some time, but remain legally married. They also recently marked a major wedding anniversary. To that end, the most recent episode of RHUGT has reignited the discourse around Ashley’s encounter with Mauricio.
While Ashley denied flirting with Mauricio and insisted she would never pursue anything romantic with him, the flashback scenes from RHOP Season 10 suggested otherwise. “Ashley is a liar! Girl, we saw you in 4k flirting w/ Mauricio!” said @MissNicole0423 on X, formerly Twitter.
“Ashley Darby gaslighting the entire Bravosphere saying Mauricio is a boundary [you] would never cross. Girl, there’s no misconceptions. [You] should have just apologised to @KyleRichards,” added @letvictoriavote.
Elsewhere on X, another viewer pointed to Ashley’s past behavior to prove their point that she would go against the Housewives’ unofficial sisterhood. “Ashley has boundaries?” said @drey2R9. “She didn’t have them with Charrisse’s son, so why won’t she go after Mauricio? Bulls**t.”
Not everyone agreed, however. “Kyle needs to grow up,” wrote @joni_cash7. “She gets mad at anyone that talks to Mauricio, and they’re separated. Ashley didn’t do anything wrong. Mauricio is the one going around picking up women.”
So, does girl code still apply when a couple has split but hasn’t officially divorced? As far as the Real Housewives go, that rule seems up for debate!
