When it comes to her support for the LGBTQ+ community, Bronwyn Newport is making her stance crystal clear. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star revealed that she asked to be moved away from Gretchen Rossi at BravoCon 2025.
Gretchen has been called out for allegedly liking homophobic and transphobic social media posts both online and on Real Housewives of Orange County. For obvious reasons, Bronwyn didn’t want anything to do with that.
Bronwyn Newport made her thoughts clear on Gretchen Rossi’s alleged social media behavior during BravoCon
Although Gretchen claimed that she didn’t engage with anti-LGBTQ+ content on social media, Bronwyn wasn’t taking any chances at this year’s BravoCon. A fan called the RHOSLC star out in an Instagram comment about a picture floating around of the two together. Bronwyn quickly set the record straight.
“Hi, yesterday I walked into a fan experience room and they were already there,” Bronwyn explained. “I asked my team to ensure I was moved. This picture was taken while a new photo stand for me and fans was set up.”
She continued, “Honestly, they can choose to do whatever they want but I vehemently disagree with some of their beliefs and I made that known and moved so I could take photos with BravoCon attendees solo right after.”
That’s how you take a stand — literally! Elsewhere at BravoCon, she and the rest of the RHOSLC cast were on stage, chanting, “Protect the dolls!” as fans cheered. So, without a doubt, the LGBTQ+ community has an ally in Bronwyn. Meanwhile, Gretchen’s “private investigator” is still trying to figure out who liked all of those gross Instagram posts.
