RHOP’s Gizelle Bryant Gives Emotional Update on Father’s Will

Two years ago, Gizelle Bryant lost her father following a battle with brain cancer. On The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10, she’s still navigating a difficult legal battle over his will. In Episode 7, the cameras followed her to the courthouse as she continued the emotionally draining fight.

In the episode, Gizelle explained how someone seemingly tampered with her father’s will in the days leading up to his death. She said her dad signed a new will, even though he could no longer hold a pen due to his disease. Gizelle believes this was all orchestrated by her father’s new wife.

“I have been petitioning my father’s will for a couple years now,” Gizelle explained in her confessional. “I believe that his real will was destroyed by his wife.”

She continued, “Everything that he had in his estate was going to be given to either myself or his grandchildren. I know my father would want me to do what’s right.”

According to Gizelle, she and her three daughters have no relationship with the new wife. If anything, this two-year legal battle must have made it worse. Regardless, Gizelle said that she felt like she did the right thing. She said she needed to get through this to feel “at peace” with his death.

Gizelle said, “Pops is looking down like, ‘I know you’re trying to do the right thing.'”

In RHOP Season 10 Episode 7, the cameras followed Gizelle to the courthouse as she continued the fight. The judge didn’t make a decision that day. However, Gizelle predicted that the case was headed in the right direction.

“The good news is we’re kind of winning,” Gizelle told her daughter. “Because the judge could’ve, today, thrown it out and said, you know, ‘It’s over.'”

Instead, as Gizelle explained, the judge decided to take some time to review both sides of the case. It’s a waiting game until a judge determines if the will should stand, or if Gizelle presented enough evidence to prove that it was falsified.

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo, and you can stream it the next day on Peacock.
