Dancing with the Stars is a lot of hard work. But it also showcases a side of you that fans may not have seen yet. A lot of reality TV contestants who have done the show have become even bigger stars and household names. It’s not surprising that so many of them want to do the show. We can add one more Bravo star who wants a shot at the Mirrorball trophy. Gia Giudice of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test and Next Gen NYC would love to be invited to the ballroom.
Gia Giudice is throwing her hat into the DWTS ring
Gia appeared on TV Insider’s TikTok with Shawn Johnson East to talk about life lately and their recent victory on Special Forces. When Gia was asked what other shows she was interested in doing now that she’s conquered the world’s toughest test, she didn’t hesitate.
“I would love to go on Dancing with the Stars,” Gia said. She mentioned that Shawn had discussed it with her previously. Gia also added that she thinks Andrew East (Shawn’s husband) would be a good fit as well.
“Shawn won it, of course,” Gia continued. “I would love, and Shawn really wants Andrew to do it.” Shawn agreed, “Andrew should do it.”
It would certainly make a good story, too. Gia’s mom, Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, joined DWTS for Season 31 with Pasha Pashkov. The pair placed 15th during that season, but if Special Forces is any indication, Gia may be much better than her mom.
And we know that DWTS isn’t against casting celebrity relatives on the show. In Season 31, Charli D’Amelio famously competed with her mom Heidi D’Amelio, with Charli eventually being crowned champion. And Robert Irwin’s incredible win this season makes him and his sister Bindi Irwin the first celebrity sibling duo to be crowned champions.
“If you guys are hearing this,” Gia said, speaking directly to the DWTS producers. “If I could be on the show with Andrew, I would really love that.”
Special Forces is streaming on Hulu.
