Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Interact on Social Media Amid Divorce

Divorces are complicated, and no one really knows the full story except those involved. While some may seem contentious, others prove that where love once was doesn’t always have to go bad. Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss is currently going through a complicated divorce from Todd Tucker, but that didn’t stop him from giving his estranged wife props online.

Todd Tucker sent estranged wife Kandi Burruss support on Instagram

Todd and Kandi filed for divorce last month, and while it may get a bit messy thanks to their prenup, Todd is still cheering for her in his own way. He posted a snippet of her singing the Pink song Perfect from & Juliet, the Max Martin jukebox musical.

He captioned the post, “Good Job, @kandi! Keep inspiring and doing your thing!” The post just goes to show that things may not have worked out between the two, but Todd can still celebrate Kandi’s many wins.

Many fans in the comments felt hope seeing his post, saying they hoped for a potential reconciliation between the two. Realistically, that’s most likely not going to happen. Still, it was nice to see the love.

Kandi will be doing a special run as Angélique in the Broadway show & Juliet. The Grammy-winning multi-hyphenate will be joining the David West Read show from now until March 8, 2026. She’s joining Gianna Harris, James Monroe Iglehart, and Drew Gehling. The show flips the script on Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet and features hits from the Max Martin catalog.

Kandi, of course, is no stranger to Broadway. She made her Broadway debut as Matron Mama Morton in Chicago back in 2018. Kandi has also produced shows on the Great White Way, like her recent show Othello, featuring Denzel Washington. She produced this show alongside Todd earlier this year.

Sadly, the couple will not be going the distance, but when things get tough, it’s nice to see snippets of positivity in between. They were together for 11 years after all, and it’s good to know that Todd still supports Kandi and is proud of her achievements.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is streaming on Peacock.
