What Below Deck Med’s Christine ‘Bugsy’ Drake Is Doing Now (December 2025)

Christine “Bugsy” Drake last appeared on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 5, which aired in 2020. Her tablescapes were next level, as were her personally worn accessories. But, following Season 5, Bugsy bounced, and we haven’t heard much about her whereabouts ever since. So, what has this former Bravo chief stew been up to?

When viewers watched Bugsy, the love for her job was clear. It makes sense that she remains in the yachting industry, as evidenced on Instagram. As Bugsy explained, she has spent the past four years working on Nita K II, a massive superyacht that takes on multiple charters each season, just like her last filmed yacht on Bravo. “Chat GPT told me that 4 years in yachting is like 10-12 years in ‘Human years,’ Bugsy joked, calling this journey of hers “epic.”

However, when Bugsy isn’t setting sail around the world, she can be found renovating her “dream home” in South Africa, which she purchased earlier this year. She even posted a reel featuring her thoroughly gutted house. As she explained, “So I am at the little beach cottage that I am currently renovating. Still work on the yachts; this is my part-time job.”

She continued, “I’ve been so quiet on here because I’ve been so busy becoming ‘Bugsy the Builder.’ I can’t wait to share absolutely everything with you!!! Currently on my way back to the yacht to smash out an awesome Caribbean charter season! But will share EVERYTHING I’ve been up to in the past 2.5 months! It’s been WILD!”

Also, in a newly uploaded post, Bugsy further revealed another “update on my little House for 2025, as everything shuts down now until 2026! Can’t wait to share all with you in the new year! Can’t wait to decorate, add the finishes, and most importantly, host my first dinner party! Thanks for all tagging along for the ride! So much more to come xxx.”
