Real Housewives of Miami star, Marysol Patton, can always be counted on to bring the humor and some cockies. Of course, in earlier seasons, Marysol’s mom, Mama Elsa, was a beloved fixture on the show. Mama Elsa’s comments were hysterical, and the bond between Marysol and her mother was priceless.
Sadly, Mama Elsa passed away in 2019. In a statement, the Patton family said, “Our beloved Elsa Patton (aka Mama Elsa) passed away over Mother’s Day weekend after a long illness.” The Bravoverse mourned one of the most memorable and wackiest characters to ever bless our screens.

Since Mama Elsa’s death, Marysol has gradually moved forward as she mourned her mom. Recently, she decided to sell Mama Elsa’s house. And Marysol shared a post via Instagram that was shocking to some of Mama Elsa’s fans.
The post featured a video of Mama Elsa, talking about caviar. “This is not just caviar. This is a lifestyle,” Mama Elsa stated. The clip showed her getting a spoonful of caviar. “Mmm … Smooth. Bold. Perfect. Just like me.”
Then the logo for the company appeared, as Mama Elsa was heard in a voiceover. “I need money. I love money.”
In addition, Marysol wrote in the caption, “My mother, Elsa, always believed life should be lived beautifully – and never cheaply. Before she passed, she shared her love for the finest things … including exceptional caviar.” She added, “Today, I’m honored to introduce Mama Elsa Caviar – created to reflect her style and elegance, and her unapologetic love of luxury.”
Welp, fans sounded off in the comments. “Marysol … POR FAVOR. This is crazy,” one user wrote. “Not AI mama Elsa,” another commented. “Love her and love you, but this is creepy,” a third posted.
Meanwhile, Marysol’s co-star and bestie Alexia Nepola wrote, “Mmmh … Love this.” And RHOM cast member Kiki Barth added two heart emojis to the comments. I wonder what Andy Cohen, who adored Mama Elsa, will say about Marysol’s caviar promotion?
