Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Settle Divorce: Details

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker have reached a divorce settlement after several months of back and forth. It looks like the pair have finally come to terms and told the court that they have hashed it out between them and reached a final settlement. Luckily, they achieved this with minimal fighting and collateral damage.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum announced her split from Todd in November 2025 after 11 years of marriage. However, Kandi confirmed that the issues leading to divorce started as far back as July 2025. This came as a surprise for most reality TV fans.

Kandi had originally hoped to keep the divorce private and amicable with joint custody. Things got a bit messy, though, when Todd filed for primary custody. In response to that, Kandi changed her request to sole custody, disputing Todd’s claims that he was the primary caregiver and slamming him for living rent-free in her guest home.

Things heated up after that, but fortunately, it looks like that’s as contentious as it’s going to get (fingers crossed). TMZ reported that the couple has privately reached a child support and parenting plan together.

The next step is submitting their final settlement paperwork to the court. They have until March 20 to do so. Hopefully, nothing changes from now until then.

As far as Housewives divorces go, Kandi and Todd’s were on the milder side, which is good for them and their children. The pair can still praise each other professionally, and now that they’ve finally settled, they may even be able to maintain a good co-parenting relationship. Both have agreed that their focus is on the kids.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is streaming on Peacock.
