You know when something is blowing up that it won’t be long before Bethenny Frankel is sharing her opinion. This time, the former Real Housewives of New York star is giving her “blind take” on West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s romance.
The Summer House stars shocked the Bravoverse with their joint statement
Bethenny took to Instagram to reply to a comment and give her opinion on the Summer House romance heard round the world. She defended the Summer House stars despite admitting that she doesn’t know who they are.
Bethenny shared her opinion in two points. “A, was this on a reality show with producers and a network that stands to profit in the same way as Scandoval?” she started, referencing the Vanderpump Rules infamous cheating scandal between stars Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss. Indeed, many people are already comparing West and Amanda to Scandoval.
“B, did the people who were ‘friends’ meet on the show?” Bethenny continued. “Because if that’s the case, we have to shave several points off friendship. Because the network wants to think they were all friends, but they’re not really friends, and they won’t be friends after.”
In the end, Bethenny defended West and Amanda by pointing out that Bravo shows always involve drink and drama.
“If these are all in fact true, and this couple that is now a couple, they’re grown-ass consenting adults,” she finished. She warned people about getting rabid like they did the last drunken-fueled show that “made millions of dollars” and “soaring ratings” from a cheating scandal between people “who never met, who are just young kids f*cking and loving.”
Her last quotable quote was, “Whoever these two people are together, no, go with God. I’ll be happy to sell them an appropriate wedding dress. You’re welcome.”
Amanda and West issued a joint statement confirming their “connection” after weeks of rumors. Amanda is best friends with Ciara Miller, whom West dated for several months in 2023. Or maybe former best friends if the feud rumors are true.
