The relationship between Kim Richards and her sisters has never been smooth. It seems that Kim, Kyle Richards, and Kathy Hilton are rarely in a good space. Usually, someone is on the outs, and reportedly, right now, that is Kim.
In September 2024, Kim allegedly suffered a relapse. Kim’s struggles with alcohol addiction played out in earlier seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. A source claimed that Kyle was deeply affected. “She does her best to take care of Kim – and essentially bankrolls Kim’s life, with Kathy – but never knows where the line goes between helping and enabling,” the insider explained.
Kim Richards vacated the LA condo

It seems that Kyle allegedly tried a dose of tough love to get her sister, Kim, back on a positive path. TMZ reported that Kyle sued Kim in 2025, in an attempt to force Kim out of her condo. In court documents from January 2025, Kyle requested that Kim leave Kyle’s Encino condo. The two-bedroom unit, which boasted three bathrooms, was reportedly Kim’s home for years.
However, Kyle claimed that in late 2024, she told Kim to vacate the property. Kyle’s lawsuit asked that Kim not only leave the premises, but that Kyle receive $140 in damages, starting in November 2024, for each day that Kim stayed in the condo.
Since Kim never responded to her sister’s lawsuit, in March 2025, a default judgment was entered. Kim was ordered to vacate the condo and turn it over to Kyle. Meanwhile, in June 2025, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve Kim with the judgment, but she had moved out. The lawsuit came after Kim’s family decided that a “tough love” stance was what Kim needed.
On a positive note, Kim made an appearance in New Jersey in April 2025, looking well and happy. In addition, Kim relocated to a new state for a fresh start. She previously stated that she “loves living in Florida.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
