The Real Housewives of Miami may be on pause, but the drama never ends. During Season 7, Lisa Hochstein told her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, that she wanted an engagement ring. Meanwhile, Lisa’s contentious divorce from Lenny Hochstein grabbed headlines.
Their split was one of the nastiest in Bravo history. Finally, after two years, the dueling exes finalized their divorce. Reportedly, Lenny had to cough up $15,000 monthly in child support for the former couple’s two children. Lisa and Lenny must also follow a parenting plan. However, while their divorce may be over, the legal repercussions are heating up.
Court documents were filed against the pair over alleged actions against Lenny Hochstein
Earlier this year, Jody and Lisa reportedly called it quits, and she moved out of his home. Meanwhile, Local10.com reported that both Lisa and Jody are facing criminal charges in Miami-Dade County. I did not have this on my bingo card.
According to court documents filed on March 19, each party is facing one count of interception of wire, electronic, and oral communications. The duo allegedly, between March 12 and March 31, 2023, “unlawfully and intentionally” intercepted, attempted to intercept, or tried to arrange for someone to intercept “oral statements by Leonard Hochstein and those Leonard Hochstein spoke with.”
In May 2023, in legal documents, Lenny accused Lisa of allegedly installing a “listening device” on his automobile. The court papers claim that Lisa reportedly placed “at least one” listening device to try to “access and monitor his private, non-public communications involving this litigation.”
Jody was arrested on April 11, and as of Monday, was no longer showing up in the prison database. In a joint statement to Local 10 News, Lisa and Jody’s lawyers said, “This matter is part of a contentious divorce proceeding and does not belong in criminal court.” In addition, the warrant is under seal according to the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.
