The drama unfolded during Wednesday’s CELSIUS Soccer Classic, where Jutta Leerdam joined several creators and athletes for the charity football event. In a clip from Marlon Garcia’s stream, Leerdam appeared frustrated by the amount of content creation happening before the match and told him and fitness influencer Sara Saffari to focus on the game instead.
“Too much vlogging! Put the cameras away and focus on the ball and score,” Leerdam said during warmups. Marlon responded on stream by saying, “She’s an Olympic gold medalist, so I should probably listen to her. But I am also not going to listen to her because… I’m a gold Olympian, too.”
The clip quickly reached Jake Paul, who defended his fiancée on X. “My girl don’t do this s–t for fun,” Paul wrote. “We make content because our jets have fuel costs but I used to run that game and then purposefully retired from it because of weird s–t like this.”
The professional boxer continued, “You just met someone who is a real person that doesn’t give a flying f–k about your stream. Play ball homie.”
Paul, who built his early fame through YouTube before transitioning into professional boxing in 2020, has been engaged to Leerdam since March 2025. She recently made headlines after winning Olympic gold in the 1,000-meter speed skating event for the Netherlands at the 2026 Milano Cortina Games.
Marlon later responded on stream, saying he had been respectful toward Leerdam and questioned why Paul escalated the situation. Still, the back-and-forth quickly turned the charity event into one of social media’s latest influencer feuds.
