The actress recently shared a new Instagram photo dump filled with peaceful moments from around the French capital. The first image showed the actress posing near the River Seine with glowing city lights behind her. Other photos featured artwork, scenic outdoor spots, flowers, and quiet moments with her dog.
One picture showed her pet relaxing in front of a bookshelf, while another captured the dog outdoors enjoying the fresh air. Portman ended the carousel with a blurry nighttime walking shot that reflected the calm tone of the post.
The Black Swan star revealed her pregnancy during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in April. The baby will be her first with Destable. She also shares two children, Aleph, 13, and Amalia, 9, with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied.
Portman moved to Paris in 2014 after Millepied accepted a position with the Paris Opera Ballet. Even after their divorce was finalized in 2024, she chose to remain in the city with her children. According to PEOPLE, the actress has fully embraced Parisian culture and built a comfortable life there.
In a previous interview with Net-a-Porter, Portman explained why she enjoys living in Paris. She praised locals for valuing privacy and described the culture as deeply different from life in the United States. She also shared that learning French helped her feel more connected to the city.
