It looks like Brandi Glanville may have another medical mystery on her hands, because she claims that she has a case of “sexually transmitted” ringworm. Her explanation for how she got it is equal parts TMI and NSFW, but we wouldn’t expect anything less from the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star.
The reality star shared another troubling health update with fans
Of course, Brandi has been dealing with a “facial parasite” for years that left her disfigured and in an incredible amount of medical debt. Earlier this year, she finally got some answers about what caused the issue with her face, only to dive headfirst into a new problem.
During the Thursday, May 21 episode of the Brandi Unfiltered podcast, the former RHOBH star was joined by retired porn actress Lisa Ann. Brandi asked her if she knew anything about sexually transmitted ringworm, because she feels convinced that she has it.
“I have a quick question. Have you heard about sexually transmitted ringworm?” Brandi asked. “I feel like I have it in my throat.”
According to Lisa, sexually transmitted ringworm is extremely common in the adult entertainment industry. She said that most people don’t know how to spot it.
Lisa explained, “We had to train our makeup artists that when a new member of talent would show up, they would have to get naked in a window where there’s good light, and they would inspect their body to see if they see any patches because it’s incredibly contagious.”
That’s when Brandi shared more details about how this potential STD arrived in her throat. She said that she had been sleeping with an unnamed porn actor.
“He would only, you know, my face … because he didn’t want to get me pregnant,” Brandi revealed. “He didn’t know that ship had sailed. I’m like, ‘OK, whatever, I’m not going to correct you. Alright, honey.’ And in my mouth in all that, [then] my girlfriend told me about it yesterday. I knew nothing about it.”
Brandi already went to a doctor to get STD tests, all of which came back negative. Thus, she has a medical mystery on her hands. Is it ringworm, or something else, causing the itch in her throat?
“I really just heard about ringworm yesterday, and they can apparently … burrow in, like, if it’s in your throat,” Brandi claimed. “If it’s in your throat, they can burrow deep into your ears and all that.”
