Jana Kramer already has extensive acting and music credits on her resume. But another role was also hers for the taking via a hit Bravo reality series, specifically The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. So, what happened? Here’s what Jana just revealed.
Jana Kramer is not interested in doing reality TV
Jana recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio. While here, host Evan Real asked this country music singer, “Would you ever want to tackle reality television?” In response, Jana admitted, “I’ve been asked [this question] many times.” But even still, she stressed, this typically messy career move is not for her. At least not right now.
After a few beats of reflection, Jana added, “I don’t think I can do it. I really don’t. I mean, I feel like I’ve had so much drama in my life, and I don’t want it anymore.”
To explain, in 2021, Jana divorced her third husband, former NFL player Mike Caussin. Their split was messy, thanks to Mike’s alleged “massive sex addiction.” That said, maybe her past might help her shine on “The Housewives,” Evan noted, since “that’s a place for drama.” But alas, “I can’t,” Jana said
However, producers asked her “to do Beverly Hills, she revealed. Yet, “I’m like, “I live in Franklin.” Nevertheless, “They asked if I would move back, [but] I was like, I can’t uproot.”
Also, Jana noted, “I don’t think I could handle the outside noise, too.” Why ruin a good thing? she asked. After all, she has a “healthy and happy family, and things are good,” she said, so “Let’s just keep it that way.”
That said, Jana joked, “If I’m 50 and I haven’t made it on a scripted TV show, I will do Housewives here right now. Hold me to it. I’ve got eight years to get on a TV show.”
