Having famous parents who know what reality TV is all about can come in handy. That seems to have been the case for Preston Pippen. The son of former NBA star Scottie got some advice from his mother, Larsa, ahead of his debut on Calabasas Confidential.
The Real Housewives of Miami star always seems to be watching her back and wanted Preston to do the same. As such, she had some common tips for him.

Don’t believe everything you see and hear. Those are among the tips that Larsa threw out to Preston before filming for the Netflix series came about. In an exclusive interview with E! News, Larsa revealed that she told her son not to “really trust anybody.” According to her, “even though we’re all friends, once in front of a camera, people are gonna act different.”
For Preston, that warning has come true, while he says, “I’m glad I took that advice.” On the show he has had to revisit his share of dark moments from his life. That includes his mother and father’s multi-million-dollar divorce, which was finalized in 2021. “I kind of knew what I signed up for,” shared Preston. He says he’s grown up now and is ok delving into those matters.
In Season 1 of the show, Preston was very open about all the drama surrounding his parents’ breakup. He openly shared the impact that it had on him, along with his mom’s previous friendship with Kim Kardashian. Larsa allegedly had an affair with rapper Future while going through her separation from Scottie.
Meanwhile, Preston’s love life was discussed during Season 1 of the show. The baking aficionado sparked a fling with Alexie Epstein during the first season of the show. Preston, though, has neglected to share much about where the two are at for now.
