The legal drama between Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman is far from over. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is coming after her estranged husband, seeking over $400,000 from him as compensation for all the legal fees she claims to have incurred.
Drew believes that Ralph is dragging out their divorce for the sole purpose of destroying her. She’s made some explosive claims about Ralph’s conduct during their divorce proceedings.
At the trial, Ralph alleged that he took out loans to finance her appearance on RHOA. According to him, that was to ensure they had a big home, designer clothes, and hairstylists, among other things.
The RHOA star’s legal battle with her ex continues
She’s suffered several blows in the divorce, but Drew is hoping this one goes her way. In April, Ralph was awarded the house and primary custody of the two children they had while together. In court documents obtained by TMZ, the RHOA star alleges that Ralph’s efforts to get custody wound up costing her $411,520 in legal fees. She wants him to pay for that. Ralph alleges that she did not disclose her income in the divorce, blaming her for the lengthy delays. He asked the court to award him $320,000 in legal fees.
In the court documents, Drew alleges that the “hostility” shown by Ralph during their divorce has been “continuing and unrelenting.” According to her, he was playing with the reality star’s emotions throughout the divorce trial, allegedly giving her false hope of a reconciliation. The pair married in 2014, and Drew filed for divorce in February 2023. The RHOA star has previously accused Ralph of adultery and cruel treatment.
There was a time when it seemed like Drew had to scramble for a place to live. Initially she was ordered to vacate the couple’s property by May 31. That decision, however, was reversed by a judge. That means that Drew can stay in the shared marital mansion along with Ralph.
Under the updated ruling, the court mandates that Drew and Ralph continue splitting their household expenses until Drew leaves or the situation is fully resolved.
