David Beckham Shuts Down Brooklyn Feud Question in Awkward Interview

David Beckham declined to discuss reports of an ongoing rift with son Brooklyn Beckham during a recent interview ahead of receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The soccer legend instead focused on his family, career, and future ambitions as speculation about tensions within the Beckham family continued.

The reported fallout between David, Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn Beckham, and Nicola Peltz has dominated headlines for months. However, when asked directly about the situation, David made it clear he had no intention of addressing the matter publicly.

David says “there’s a mountain to climb every day” amid the family feud with Brooklyn

While speaking with Variety, David was asked what impact media coverage of the reported family dispute had taken on him.

“To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter. That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about,” David told Variety.

The former England captain then shifted the conversation toward his personal and professional goals.

“Every day there’s a mountain to climb,” David said. “I’ve got a life where I’m very busy with what I do. I’ve got four grown kids, the businesses, the club in Miami, but I always want to achieve more.”

David also reflected on his 26-year marriage to Victoria Beckham and the importance of maintaining strong family relationships despite their demanding schedules.

“We’ve got four incredible kids. We’ve got businesses that we work hard on. But we always make time for each other, and we always have,” David told Variety. “I want Victoria to be the best version of herself, and vice versa.”

He added, “As busy as we are, our family always comes first. That’s our priority, and that’s what makes it work when you’ve been together for so long.”

The comments arrived amid continued reports of estrangement between the Beckhams and Brooklyn and Nicola. Earlier this year, Brooklyn released a lengthy public statement criticizing his parents and claiming he no longer wanted to be associated with “Brand Beckham.”

Meanwhile, David is preparing to receive one of Hollywood’s highest honors. According to reports, Victoria, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper are expected to attend the Walk of Fame ceremony. Brooklyn’s attendance remains unclear.
