Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice just got threads in her jawline, and she videoed the entire ordeal. Her video made this facelift alternative look, admittedly, painful. But as Teresa herself explained, this procedure was actually anything but.
Teresa Giudice shares details about her cosmetic procedure
Last week, Teresa shared a video of herself undergoing a cosmetic procedure with Injx by Nat Aesthetics in New Jersey. As bubbly music played in the background, this procedure got underway. And then, the music stopped, allowing nurse practitioner Natia Rufolo a chance to explain that Teresa was her “friend.” And that day, she was helping her pal via “a little refresh in the neck, just a couple of threads here and there.”
Naturally, fans in the comments of this post had questions. They mostly asked, “This looks painful. Does it hurt?” But as Teresa explained midway through this video, that answer was and is a solid no.
“It feels great,” Teresa said. Regarding Natia, Teresa stressed, “She was amazing. I’m a chicken, and she was great.”
So, what does this procedure actually entail? Well, per the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a thread lift is “a procedure wherein temporary sutures are used to produce a subtle but visible ‘lift’ in the skin.” In layman’s terms, instead of surgically extracting loose facial skin, the practitioner uses a fine needle to insert threads into the deepest layer of the skin. When pulled taut, these threads lift the skin, showing off a tightened effect in the patient.
As these threads safely dissolve, they leave behind fresh collagen, which further tightens the coordinating area of the skin. After her procedure, Teresa inspected her face in a handheld mirror. Clearly liking her finished result, she turned to the camera, saying, “Thanks, Nat.”
And now, back to filming on RHONJ Season 15, you go, Teresa!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock.
