There has been an update in Taylor Frankie Paul’s ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Tate Paul. Per new court documents, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has been ordered to pass a drug test. This is to regain unsupervised parenting time with the two children she shares with her ex-husband.

To recap, Taylor has been battling it out with her ex-husband, Tate, for some time. The pair were married for six years, and together they share eight-year-old daughter Indy and six-year-old son Ocean.
In fresh court documents obtained by TMZ, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has been ordered by a Utah judge to undergo drug and alcohol testing. If Taylor’s test results come back clean, she will be granted unsupervised parenting time with her and Tate’s two kids.
However, the documents show that if Taylor tests positive for any unprescribed drugs or alcohol, her parenting time with Indy and Ocean will require supervision.
The custody change comes amid an ongoing issue between Taylor and Tate. He has requested a temporary restraining order against her. As part of that bid, he submitted text messages and other materials to the court which he claims raise concerns about Taylor’s recent rehab treatment and ability to parent safely.
This is not the only custody struggle that Taylor is currently embroiled in, however. She also has another child with former partner and co-star, Dakota Mortensen. The previously on-again-off-again couple have a two-year-old son called Ever, with whom Taylor is allowed unsupervised time. This comes after a judge lifted mandatory parental supervision for the SLOMW star on June 1.
Beyond that, both Taylor and Dakota have been granted protective orders against each other – following a highly-publicized domestic violence incident – for three years.
