Prince Harry’s reported desire to return to the UK might impact his marriage with Meghan Markle. According to a royal expert, the Duke of Sussex stood by his wife’s side from the beginning as he was deeply in love. He left the palace and moved to California with the Duchess of Sussex. But now, he allegedly would like to be closer to his father, King Charles, and mend their differences. This might not be something Markle seemingly wants.
Expert discusses Prince Harry reconnecting with the Royal Family and how it could impact his marriage
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage might be in jeopardy due to the duke’s reported change of heart. Relationship expert and dating coach Hayley Quinn told The Mirror that couples often “end up putting their partners on a pedestal” in the beginning of a relationship. They might want to do anything and everything for them. “In the case of Harry and Megan, Harry showed his loyalty to Megan during Megxit when the couple left their royal duties for a life in the USA,” she said.
In California, the Sussexes had to rebuild their life, which included diving into the entertainment industry. With taking care of two kids and maintaining their lifestyle, the pair faced the “reality.” “It’s believable that their once great escape no longer feels so gilded and the couple may be experiencing strain on their relationship,” the expert claimed.
Furthermore, she noted how Prince Harry has been trying to reconcile with King Charles since last year. In July, he brought his wife and kids to the palace to meet his father and Queen Camilla. Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet met the king after four years. Quinn highlighted the reunion, suggesting that Harry might have had “a change of heart about the importance of his wider social relationships outside of his marriage.” Meanwhile, this change could allegedly impact his married life.
