Brittany Cartwright made shocking claims about her ex-boyfriend, Brandon Hanson, during The Valley Season 3 reunion. The 37-year-old reality star revealed how much money she gave her ex-boyfriend during their roughly two-month romance in 2025.

When reunion host Andy Cohen asked about it during The Valley’s August 5 episode, Cartwright hesitated before saying, “Oh my God, I don’t even want to say. It’s so embarrassing.” When Cohen guessed, “Five grand?” Cartwright reluctantly replied, “More.” When he increased his estimate to $10,000, she confirmed, “Around,” as reported by Bravo.
The revelation left Cartwright’s The Valley castmates visibly shocked. Lala Kent reacted with disbelief, repeating, “Ten thousand dollars?” Cartwright then clarified, “It might have been less than ten, but it was more than five.”
This isn’t the first time Cartwright made these revelations. Earlier in the season, she disclosed that she financially helped Brandon while she was recovering from her mommy makeover surgery. During Episode 10, Cartwright revealed that she gave him money after he took time off work to care for her. She explained, “I cannot believe I did this, but he asked if I could give him some money. I was like, ‘You know what? You’re gonna come and take care of me, so I don’t care to give you some money.'”
After fans criticized him, Hanson defended himself. According to Reality Blurb, he explained that he accepted Cartwright’s offer because she wanted to help him financially. He said that the money she gave him covered his rent for the month and helped provide food for his children. He added that she offered the support voluntarily and that he did not see a reason to turn it down. However, he clarified that he had a full-time job and also owned a small business.
Per People, Cartwright and Hanson stepped out together as a couple at Narwal’s End of Summer Soirée in August 2025. At the time, she said she was looking forward to having fun and embracing this new chapter of her life. However, in September, she set the record straight and said that she and Hanson were not technically a couple.
Cartwright gained widespread recognition when she joined Vanderpump Rules in 2015. At the time, she was dating fellow cast member Jax Taylor, whom she later married. Together, they share a son named Cruz.
