Meghan Markle’s UK Schooling Concerns Resurface Amid Alleged Move to Britain

Meghan Markle’s past comments about UK school privacy resurfaced as new reports claimed her family could return to Britain. The Duchess of Sussex once said she had “a problem” with school runs becoming public photo calls.

The remarks gained fresh attention because Prince Harry and Meghan’s kids are reportedly set for a UK school. Neither Meghan nor Harry has personally confirmed the reports, though the BBC reportedly spoke to a Sussex spokesperson confirming the move.

Meghan Markle once voiced her concerns about sending her kids to UK schools in interview

Page Six highlighted the issue Meghan Markle discussed in 2022. The outlet revisited her interview with The Cut, published on August 29, 2022. At the time, Allison P. Davis accompanied Meghan during Archie’s preschool pickup in Montecito. Davis noted there was no press around. Only a few fellow mothers did “double takes” when the “Suits” alum arrived.

Meanwhile, Meghan contrasted that quiet California routine with a possible UK school run. She said she would never manage pickup and drop-off in Britain without a press pen. The duchess described “40 people snapping pictures” around that daily parenting moment.

Then, she said, “Sorry, I have a problem with that.” Meghan added, “That doesn’t make me obsessed with privacy.” She called herself “a strong and good parent protecting my child.”

However, Page Six said the old quote resurfaced after fresh claims of a UK move. The outlet reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would return for “an extended period.”

It also said their kids, Archie and Lilibet, would attend school there. The BBC reportedly said the Sussex children were enrolled at a British school.

Still, neither Meghan nor Prince Harry has personally confirmed the move reports. Page Six also cited Joss Stone’s comments about the duke praising UK schools. Stone said Harry called them “wonderful” and discussed how “important community is for children.” For Meghan, Harry, and their kids, the UK school issue returned as a privacy question rather than just an education choice.
