The DWTS Season 35 ballroom reportedly gained two major names before the official cast reveal. Jenna Dewan and Tyler Cameron could soon trade familiar screens for sequins and ballroom shoes.
Their reported casting would add a dancer with serious credentials and a Bachelor Nation favorite. Neither Jenna nor Tyler had publicly confirmed their Dancing with the Stars appearances.
Jenna Dewan and Tyler Cameron are reportedly joining DWTS Season 35
According to Us Weekly, separate sources claimed Jenna Dewan and Tyler Cameron had joined DWTS Season 35.
Jenna could enter the competition with a significant advantage over several fellow celebrities. The Step Up star built her career as both an actor and professional dancer.
Tyler’s reported casting would also mark a Bachelor Nation return to the ballroom. His close friend Matt James competed during Season 30 with Lindsay Arnold.
Matt and Lindsay lasted four weeks before their elimination. Tyler could now attempt to outperform his former Bachelor lead.
The full Dancing with the Stars cast will arrive on September 2. Good Morning America will reveal both the celebrity contestants and professional pairings.
Four celebrities had already received official spots for the upcoming season. Maura Higgins, Ciara Miller, Jackson Olson, and Guillermo Rodriguez joined the lineup.
Guillermo will partner with reigning Mirrorball champion Witney Carson. She announced their partnership on Good Morning America on August 17.
“I think he is so sweet. He’s so fun,” Witney said. “That’s exactly what I need in this season of life.”
Witney also revealed another challenge for her DWTS return. She will compete while expecting her third child with husband Carson McAllister.
“I would be lying if I said it wasn’t very daunting,” Witney explained. “I’ve never been this far along pregnant and competing on Dancing With the Stars, ever.”
She won Season 34 alongside wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin. The professional later shared TikTok footage from rehearsals with Guillermo.
“When you and your partner get along instantly >> can’t wait for this season!” Witney captioned the clip.
If the reports prove accurate, Jenna Dewan could become Season 35’s dancer to watch. Tyler Cameron could bring plenty of Bachelor Nation support into the ballroom.
Dancing with the Stars Season 35 will begin with a two-night premiere. ABC and Disney+ will air episodes September 15 and September 16 at 8 p.m. ET.
