Kylie Kelce pushed back against repeated questions about whether she and Jason Kelce want a son. The mother of four addressed the topic on her podcast. She said their family already feels complete with four daughters.
Kylie says she and Jason are fulfilled as parents.
Kylie discussed the ongoing questions during the August 20 episode of Not Gonna Lie. She quickly rejected the idea that she needs to have a son. “You’re wrong. I don’t need to have a son,” Kylie said.
She then criticized the pressure placed on parents with children of one gender. Kylie said people should stop asking about having children of another gender. She described the repeated questions as something that happens online and in person.
Kylie shares daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finn with Jason. Their daughters are currently six, five, three, and one. She emphasized that she feels grateful for the children they already have.
“I have four kids that I love dearly,” Kylie said. She also praised her husband for the family they have built. Kylie said she and Jason were fortunate to have their daughters.
The podcast host also challenged the idea that parents need children of both genders. She said having four girls did not make their family less fulfilled. Kylie called the suggestion that a son was necessary “silly.”
Kylie also joked about being biased towards girls because of her own experience. She referenced Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls)” while discussing her daughter. Her comments showed how strongly she rejected the idea of needing a boy.
The pressure has followed Kylie for years. In January 2025, she addressed similar assumptions during the “Sunday Sports Club” podcast. She recalled people suggesting Jason needed a son to continue his football legacy.
Kylie previously rejected the idea that their daughters could not share those experiences. She pointed out that their girls had already played catch with their father. “He’s fine,” she said at the time.
The latest comments showed that Kylie remained comfortable with her family dynamic. She also made clear that another child should not be expected for gender reasons. For Kylie, raising her four daughters was already a fulfilling experience.
