Brittany Cartwright, 37, shared a message with fans following the TRO against Jax Taylor. She told TMZ, “Thanks [to fans] for the support.” The reality star was out in Los Angeles on Saturday when she updated her fans, saying, “I’m OK!”
According to Us Weekly, a Los Angeles judge granted Cartwright’s request for a restraining order against Taylor, requiring Taylor to stay 100 yards away from her. In her request, she alleged that Taylor had engaged in “coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting and even physical violence perpetrated.”
She said that they are “separated for more than two years.” She said, “During our relationship, his abuse included threats of physical violence, actual physical aggression, destruction of my property. Degrading and humiliating verbal abuse, controlling behavior, invasion of my privacy, and financial abuse.”
Cartwright also filed for sole custody of their 5-year-old son Cruz; the custody request is pending a formal court hearing.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Taylor said, “I made a lot of mistakes and behaved in ways during that period of my life that I’m truly ashamed of and regret and take full responsibility for. The person I was in 2024, during the darkest time of my life and at the height of my addiction, is not the person I am today.”

He added that he is focusing on sobriety, mental health and wants to be the best father. The Valley stars got married in 201 and Brittany filed for divorce in 2024.
