Kyle Richards calls out Ashley Darby for her behavior with Mauricio Umansky. The Real Housewives star said the situation was “weird,” noting that she and Umansky are still married. The RHOBH drama spilled into the RHOP feud, bringing Darby into the spotlight over her interaction with Umansky.
Kyle Richards scoffed at the Aspen encounter, calling Ashley Darby’s behavior with Mauricio Umansky straight-up “weird”
Kyle Richards confronted Ashley Darby at The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th’s Alter Ego party. She called out Darby over alleged flirting with her estranged husband, Umansky.
In Episode 4 of Roaring 20th, Richards said, “Obviously, I know that Ashley said something about Mauricio when he was in Aspen. This is out there currently being talked about on the internet and on Instagram every time I open my phone. So obviously I’m going to say something to her. Do I love it? No. But it would be more weird to pretend like it’s not out there.”
Richards added that she did not know Darby outside of the Bravo show or events. She said the Bravo “sisterhood” would never do that, referring to Darby’s alleged flirting.
According to Bravo, Darby denied flirting with Umansky, telling Richards, “I think there’s some misconceptions about what went down with your ex-husband.”
Earlier, Darby had a conversation with RHOP’s Stacey Rusch, during which she said she had no interest in Umansky. Darby said that Umansky was the one who tried to flirt and that “he was not on my radar.”
Darby directly addressed the topic and said, “I would never be able to, like, date anybody.” She also added that it was Stacey Rusch who created the entire conversation with Umansky.
“I mean, she’s new to the group, and that’s fair. But it wasn’t even, like, mean-hearted, you know? Irrespective of whatever’s online, I was like, ‘Does Kyle really think that I would try to, like, get with her ex-husband? I’m telling you that that is a boundary that I do have. Do I want anybody else on these shows dating my ex-husband? Absolutely not. So, I just want you to know that’s just not who I am,” Darby added.
Richards expressed appreciation for Darby’s statement, saying, “You don’t want them pumping up their own egos any more than they already are.”
