Brittany Cartwright Removes Jax Taylor’s Last Name From Social Media

Brittany Cartwright officially changed her name on Instagram recently. She’s letting everybody know that this “break” from Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor is serious.

According to Us Weekly, Brit had “Brittany Cartwright Cauchi” listed as her name on Instagram as of March 2. (And if you don’t know who Cauchi is, don’t worry; it’s Jax’s real last name.) However, it was changed to “Brittany Cartwright” a day later.

The publication said everything else on Brittany’s page, including her bio, remained the same.

Brittany announces break from Jax ahead of The Valley premiere on Bravo

We were all confused late last week when Brittany announced that she and Jax had been living apart following a tough year of marriage. Just days before, Jax shot down all of the rumors that said he had problems with his reality star wife. So, imagine the fans’ surprise when she came forward shortly after to tell the world that there was trouble in paradise.

“Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” she said on her podcast When Reality Hits. “I won’t get into too many details right now, because this is still very hard to talk about and I’m taking things one day at a time. I don’t know what the future holds, but right now, my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz.”

The pair’s new reality show, The Valley, will air on Bravo on March 19, and fans wondered if this was a ploy to get more watchers (since most of the Bravoverse seem uninterested anyway). Will we get a glimpse into their marital problems once the season airs? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

The Valley premires on Bravo on March 19 at 9/8c.
