After Garcelle Beauvais shockingly announced her exit from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Season 14, fans were worried. To some, she was the whole who held the whole group together. Who could she possibly be replaced with? Well, that person was recently announced and it’s none other than Rachel Zoe.
She got her fame for being a stylist to the Hollywood elite for years. Rachel further made her career known after her successful Bravo series The Rachel Zoe Project. She’s made a handful of appearances on Watch What Happens Live in the years since, but this will be her first leading reality TV role in over a decade. And for those who have reservations about her joining an already established group of frenemies, Andy Cohen offers his reassurance.

Andy recently threw his two cents into the network’s decision to cast Rachel. And according to him, it’s as if she was already a part of the group.
“She really fits; She knows Kathy well, she knows Kyle, she knows Boz, she was just on Boz’s podcast. She knows Jennifer Tilly, so she really knows,” he explained on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.
The WWHL host continued to share that the season will pick up on the heels of Rachel’s very public divorce. Specifically, she split with her long-term husband Rodger Berman and is back on the dating scene.
“It’s just a perfect fit. And she’s at a real transitional moment in her life. I mean, I was really rocked by the news that she and Rog were splitting up.”
The rest of the Season 15 cast hasn’t been confirmed, so who knows if there’s more newbies joining the squad.
