Amanda Batula’s professional star is on the rise. She launched a swimsuit line and is trying her hand at influencing. With her popularity on Summer House, both endeavors are turning out to be very lucrative.
And this financial success is all turning into a feeling of regret because Amanda did not sign a prenup when she married Kyle Cooke in 2021. They’ve shared their ups and downs as a couple since the beginning seasons of Summer House. And while the couple are still going strong, it’s a financial decision that Amanda feels she should have made.

“I messed up. I messed up major,” Amanda admitted on the June 30 episode of the Trading Secrets podcast.
The Bravolebrity blamed the “negative connotation” associated with prenups. Thanks to “movies that you would watch growing up of the tabloids,” Amanda felt a prenup would cast a feeling of failure over the marriage.
“It was connected to divorce, it always felt so messy. It just didn’t feel like a smart thing to do, so we didn’t sign one,” she explained.
The reality TV star added, “Everyone should sign a prenup. Let me tell you now. Protect your assets, for them to protect theirs, like, you have no idea what’s going to happen.”
Amanda acknowledged that a percentage of marriages end in divorce. She expressed concern as to what happens when it ends “really messy” and wants her followers to make smart decisions. She and Kyle certainly have warded off divorce rumors in the past.
“Then what?” she asked, “You’re screwed … Everyone should get a prenup. Hear it from the girl who didn’t get one.”
The Summer House veteran compared a prenup to “health insurance.” And as such, you should get it “not because you’re preparing for a divorce, it’s — in case something happens — you want to have that security.”
Host Jason Tartick confirmed that Amanda’s financial “success” has shot upward in recent years. She reflected, “I should have protected my assets.”
